Fashion media and customers from across the apparel value chain gathered in Buenos Aires, Argentina last month to attend a fashion trends event organized by INVISTA, owner of the LYCRA® brand. 

To view the highly anticipated capsule collection of forecasted trends, attendees set off on an interactive journey of discovery through a 110-meter long maze. Designed to be a sensory experience, each turn in the exhibit revealed garments made with LYCRA® fiber innovations that illustrated each of the AW 17 and SS 17-18 trends.

Trend expert Deborah de Corral, who is always at the forefront of fashion, participated in LYCRA® MOVES™ BUENOS AIRES and selected the latest trends to feature. In addition to hot new looks, attendees also enjoyed informative presentations on fashion, trends and innovations by industry experts, including:

  • "New Technology in Sport," by David Capdevila, INVISTA
  • "Fashion is a Reflection of Society," by Agustina Cattaneo, Fashion and Trend Consultant
  • "The Creative Process of a Collection," by Marcelo Canton, owner of Mishka brand. In addition, Mishka innovaciones incorporated LYCRA® fiber into a summer 2017 capsule denim jeans line that will be sold exclusively in brand boutiques.

A highlight of the event included an introduction to the next generation of LYCRA® SPORT technology, which is designed to deliver exceptional comfort, fit and support to stretch activewear.
