The focus of MarediModa is textile and accessories trend forecasting for the spring/summer 2018 season. Approximately 100 European firms will be exhibiting at the show including private label garment makers. LYCRA® fibre will be promoting its LYCRA® MOVES™ ATHLEISURE collection of fibre and technology solutions with the help of its exhibiting partners that are creating sample fabrics and garments.

The LYCRA® brand is an official sponsor of the exhibition and will be supporting its exhibiting mill customers in several ways. Garments made with their fabrics containing LYCRA® fibre will be on display in the brand-sponsored “LYCRA® Lounge.” In addition, co-branded promotional materials provided by INVISTA, owner of the LYCRA® brand, will be on display in mill stands. LYCRA® fibre experts will also present a seminar on the athleisure lifestyle and the lucrative business opportunities it offers members of the apparel value chain. Show visitors will have access to exclusive 2018 trends developed by the MarediModa Trend Board, a team of experts composed by WGSN, world’s leading trend forecasting authority and Mr. David Shah an histrionic icon of style trends, colours and social changes as well as publisher of TextileView. A team that also includes select teachers and students from the New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, Italy. The diverse group has created colour cards, moodboards and prints that define four trends for beachwear and two trends for intimates and athleisure.
