A&AT executives delivered presentations and held a Q&A for students interested in pursuing textile industry careers. Students learned about key innovation milestones made during LYCRA® brand’s illustrious more than 60 years of history, and how the LYCRA® brand has evolved from a single spandex fiber that revolutionized the fashion industry, to a portfolio of over 200 fibers that continue to transform apparel today.
Two A&AT employees who are also Donghua University alumni discussed the importance of having talented professionals in the textile industry. They also shared their experiences developing groundbreaking innovations from concept to commercialization for A&AT.
