Apparel makers from Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Colombia modeled swimwear, denim, sportwear and intimates collections produced with LYCRA® fiber and technologies during four daily runway shows presented at The LYCRA Company booth.
The booth also offered live demos of LYCRA® FitSense™ technology. The setup showcased how to mix the water-based LYCRA® polymer dispersion with pigments – demonstrating just how easy it is to print the solution onto fabric and add “weightless power” for targeted compression, support and lift. The team also promoted its brand hangtag and virtual tag programs, which communicate to shoppers the superior comfort, fit and freedom of movement benefits offered by the clothes they buy.
More than 500 exhibitors – including 22 direct LYCRA clients – engaged 24,000 Colombiatex attendees from 60 countries. Clients showcased 246 fabrics with LYCRA® fiber, up from 133 at the 2019 show.
